Andrea Bowen bio

Andrea Bowen, an American actress. She began her career appearing in Broadway musicals such as Les Miserables and The Sound of Music. In 2004, she began acting as Julie Mayer on the ABC comedy-drama show Desperate Housewives, a role she played on a daily basis until 2008. Julie's parents were Susan Delfino (mother) and Karl Mayer. Julie Alexa Mayer was Susan's dream daughter. The actress was regarded by Susan as their mother, when she was cleaning the house and gave tips on dating for her mom. Andrea Bowen played Amy on the Station 19 season 5 episode "All I Need for Christmas is You". Andrea Majanik Bowen and Melanie Somjen Frazer were married in St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church in Capitol Hill in Washington. The ceremony was performed by Rev Frank Dunn an Episcopal Priest. Bowen suffers from bradycardia - her normal heartbeats are lower than the norm. As a result she has experienced a pacemaker since the young twenties. Bowen who is the real estate investment expert and software developer, got married to Scott Phillips September 9th 2004. Tom Bowen told Lynette that Roy reminded him to speak with his beloved whenever he had time. Lynette told Tom that the person she loved was actually him. They reunited.
